Training Python Language

Venue: Politeknik Port Dickson
The programming language Python presents students at Politeknik Port Dickson new opportunities to learn more about robotics and their applications in the workplace. Functions are advantageous to robots because they break down complex actions into simpler, more manageable steps. By allowing code duplication, they make controlling robots in a variety of situations easier. You can change functions by giving them information referred to as "parameters," such as telling a robot how far to go.

Training UPSI Program
Venue: University Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Currently, our team is working with UPSI students to train a robot to carry out complex jobs in manufacturing. A training robotic system that can recognise and classify various items in real time is being experimented with by our engineers. They have to programme the robot after it has been assembled and configured.

PSAS ROBOSOT

A small group of students from "Politeknik Sultan Ahmad Shah" received instruction from our trainer over the course of two days, on Tuesday, January 30 ,2024 and Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Our trainer gave us instructions on how to go from zero to hero during that training. from fundamental understanding to code modifications. The pupils will acquire knowledge, apply it to the robot, and go as fast as they like.

It was more than simply a dinner; it was a chance for our team to get together, form bonds, and rekindle their friendships before to the start of the happy Malaysian Hari Raya Holiday celebrations. Every moment, from laughing to trading tales, was filled with a sense of community and excitement for the upcoming festivities. The 17th FIRA Malaysia Cup 2024 Robotics Competition is being held by the Polytechnic and Community College Education Department in collaboration with Politeknik Sultan Azlan Shah (PSAS) with great pleasure. This prestigious event showcases the newest advancements in robotics technology and inspires innovation among those in attendance. The date of the event is set for April 22–26.

The "4IR: Autonomous Mobile Robot" training at UTeM from May 6th to May 8th, 2024, was a hands-on course focusing on Robot Operating System 1 (ROS 1) using the Bveeta Mini™ mobile robot. Participants gained practical skills in ROS 1 through interactive sessions and real-world experimentation with the Bveeta Mini™. Instructors were knowledgeable, and the program provided a solid foundation for navigating the fourth industrial revolution.

The Bveeta Mini mobile robot was used in the hands-on "4IR: Autonomous Mobile Robot" program at Agency Nuclear Malaysia, which took place from June 10 to June 14, 2024. The course covered Robot Operating System 1 (ROS 1). Through hands-on experiments using the Bveeta Mini and interactive seminars, participants in ROS 1 acquired practical skills. The program offered a strong basis for navigating the fourth industrial revolution, and the instructors were well-informed.
Basic Operator Drone & Agricultural Drone

From July 15–18, a specialised course on basic operator drone and agricultural drones was held in partnership with Kolej Komuniti Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang. Through a hands-on learning experience, participants in the workshop learnt how to operate drones and how to use them to agriculture. In order to reinforce the information and abilities acquired during the sessions, the course also featured entertaining mini-games, which added to the learning experience's enjoyment factor.
Arduino Programmer Course for Beginner

A beginner's course on programming with the Arduino was presented on July 29–30 in organisations with Kolej Komuniti Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang, with a few staff members taking part. An introduction to Arduino programming was taught in the course, with an emphasis on real-world applications through interactive exercises. The training was stimulating and enjoyable because those who attended were playing mini-games that complemented the study material.
Introduction to 3D Printing for Beginner

An "Introduction to 3D Printing for Beginners" course was held at Jabatan Kimia Malaysia on August 14–15. Through a combination of instructional material and practical exercises, the course gave participants a fundamental knowledge of 3D printing. In a move that effectively bridged the gap between theory and application in reality, participants were given the chance to design their own goods and then print them.
Stream International Robot Competition (SIRC'24)

The Stream International Robot Competition was held at UTM Stadium Johor on 6 September. The Competition category for robot sumo 500gram. The primary goal is for these robots to push or drive their opponents out of a circular ring, known as the "dohyo," or to incapacitate them. The competition format typically involves multiple rounds, with robots advancing through eliminations until the final showdown determines the champion.

On 10 September, the Dynamic Collaboration Program: Pemacu Kerjaya Bersama Industri" organized by the Politeknik Melaka Corporate Industrial Services & Employability Center (CISEC) was successfully held on 10 September 2024. In this program, a Letter of Intent (LoI) / Note of Cooperation (NoC) Signing Ceremony was held between industries and agencies with Politeknik Melaka for the year 2024 involving five industries and agencies. Students are also given the opportunity to get job opportunities and prepare a place to undergo industrial training with their company after completing their studies later through an interview session that has been held.
